Class of 1966
I went to grammer school in crockett and then on to john swett high school and left in 1966, shortly after that i was drafted into the army and sent to viet nam for two years in an infantry division, i saw a lot of action their and came home in 1968, i married before i went to viet nam, so when i came home i had a wife and a child, my daughter was born well i was in viet nam. After i came home i moved to seattle washington and went to work for the us postal service, well i worked i went to college for 4 years on the gi bill and recieved two college degrees. I worked the as a computer tecnition in the mail plant makeing 75,000 dollers a year and worked for the postal service for 38 years, when i retired i was makeing 160,000 dollers a year and retired with 80% of that and my wife also retired from the state after 36 years with them, with 87% of her salery. I thank john swett for the insperation and education they gave me to move forward in life. Stay in school and you too will succeed in life as i did
