About Me	After graduating from OU, I married Sherry and went to Navy Flight School in Pensacola, FL. Served as a Naval Aviator for three year operational sea tours (four of them) and as a flight instructor for my first shore tour. Sea duty operational tours were alternated with shore duty tours. Went to graduate school on my second shore duty tour. After that, served as an engineer or program manager for various aviation procurement programs for the next three shore duty tours. Served over 26.5 years in the Navy before I retired. After the Navy I worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Caterpiller for about four years to help get our two sons through college (one now deceased).
