Favorite School Memory	German class and the fear Mr. Lanac instilled in his students. Amazing that I remember so fondly what others are probably still trying to forget!
About Me	After completing Navy flight training and serving in the U.S. Coast Guard I worked as a pilot for a number of "fly-by-night" operations. My luck changed in 1987 when I was hired by The Flying Tiger cargo line in L.A. Soon afterwards it was purchased by FedEx which is where I still work now. I'm in my 24th year of service as an international widebody jet captain. I feel fortunate to have been able find a career that has paralled my passion for aviation. I still look forward to going to work after all these years. Update July 2013: I retired from FedEx with 27 years combined service on June 30th, 2013. I will sorely miss all the friendships I leave behind. Update 2019: In August 2018 I Hagan flying a Learjet model 60 for a wealthy client.
