Graduation Year Class of 1971
Date of Passing Apr 09, 2006
About Frankey leaves behind three sons, Bobby Teaford, Frankey Joe Tubb Jr., Ricky Tubb, Granddaughters Angel Davis, and Alexis Tubb After his death, he had 4 more Granddaughters who will never know him personally, Alicia, Aliyana and twins, Amelia and Aliyah.
Frankey was a high ranking (Yodan, 4th Dan) Judo Sensei (coach) and referee. He was much respected in that community and spent over 20 years working with underprivileged kids who couldn't afford to take lessons or go to tournaments. He volunteered his time and money towards their physical as well as emotional well-being.
He graduated from John Jay High School in San Antonio, Texas. He was working for the City of Austin as an Engineer when he became ill and after a short while, his illness overcame his zest for life and took him quickly to be with our Father and Lord. All who knew him will miss him.

His ex-wife of 23 years, Sandy Parrish Tubb, wrote this poem for him:

My heart
You took my heart at age 20 when we were young and full of life
I have memories of 20 more years filled with hope, happiness and strife.
We struggled through times of poverty and somehow made it through
And all the while, though life was hard, my love for you just grew.

And in our love we bore a son who has grown into a man.
Sometimes when I look into his eyes, I see you, yes I can.
Somehow, somewhere, in the strains of life we learned to live apart.
But Frankey, even though I left, you wouldn’t give me back my heart.

We were friends through life and no matter what,
I knew I could always give you a call.
If anything would happen, you would be there to stop my fall.
Tell me whom do I call now to talk to when things seem to fall apart.
Tell me where I can look to find happiness, since Frankey,
when you died, you took with you my heart.
I will miss you

Frankey was famous for his love of Mickey Mouse and he left his body on this earth with several tattoos of the Mick.
