| About Me | Most of my professional life has been spent in some form of counseling or social work. Early on I worked in residential settings "group homes" with kids with a variety of needs and that's how I worked my way through school. Shortly after college I worked briefly with victims of violent crime, then headed off to graduate school (where I continued working with victims). Then after grad school I was again in a residential setting, this time as a therapist with abused kids, and later in a school setting.
