| About Me | I joined the Navy in August, 1971, and served in Viet Nam. Navy Unit Commendation: Combat Action Ribbon. Got out of the Navy in 1974, went to SAC, and worked a few part time jobs. During that time, I married my wife Rachel. I reentered the military in 1977, but this time, went into the Army. I worked as a medic until I was one of 14 picked from over 700 applicants to the Army Physician Assitant program in 1983. I gradualted from the Army PA program in 1985 with my degree affiliation with Oklahoma University. I served as a Physician Assistant with the 1st Cavalry in Desert Shield, and then in Desert Storm. I retired from the Army, and returned to San Antonio in early 1995. My time in the military took me from Hong Kong, the Phillipines and Taiwan while in the Navy, and later to Europe, to include France, Austria, and Germany with the Army.
