| About Me | Biography Dale Ricardo Shields is a highly accomplished African American actor, director, producer, and educator with a career spanning over 50 years in theatre and academia. He is widely recognized for his advocacy for diversity in the arts and his role as an archivist of Black theatre history. He serves as the Ohio liaison for Project1VOICE, an organization dedicated to the preservation of Black theatre. Digital Archiving: He is the creator and archivist of IForColor.org, a digital platform that preserves the history and cultural contributions of artists of color, including Black, Latinx, and Indigenous American art forms.
