About Me	I've done a few things. I am currently a practicing pediatric clinical pharmacist in San Diego. I have been a pharmacist for 31 years. In addition to credentials from Berkeley and San Francisco, I completed a Fellowship with the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. My specialty is in hematology (hemoglobinopathies, sickle cell anemia etc.) I am also a professor and dean in the UCSD School of Pharmacy. I served as the Clinical Manager and Education Coordinator at the UCSD Medical Center. I am a former pharmacist of the year in San Diego. I am a past-president of the San Diego Pharmacist Association. I am in the Hall of Fame for the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists. I am a Fellow in the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the American Society of Health System Pharmacists. I was nationally featured in the Aetna 2005 African American History Calendar as one of the nations' most prominent African-American pharmacists.I am a previous recipient of Teacher of the Year Awards from the departments of Pediatrics and Family Medicine in the UCSD School of Medicine and the Pharmacy Practice Residency Program at the UCSD Medical Center. I have practiced pharmacy on at least 4 continents. I am a former U.S. Army Major with combat medical experience in the 1st Persian Gulf War (1990-1991) and the Bosnia Peacekeeping Campaign (1996). I was Chief of Army Pharmacy Services in Stuttgart Germany, and Assistant Chief of Army Pharmacy Services in Heidelberg Germany. I am married to the former Nancy Inman.
