| About Me | I attended Prairie View A & M University. After receiving my degree in Political Science from Prairie View, I worked for the City of New Orleans’ Office of Transit Administration, which was merged with NOPSI’s transit operation to form what is now the Regional Transit Authority of New Orleans. I married Donna Winfield Terry (deceased) of Evanston, IL, in 1983. We had two daughters, Jerre’ and Sharnae Terry. In 1994, we moved to Albany, GA, where I served as General Manager of Albany Transit System (1994 – 1998). We then moved to Evanston, IL in ’98, where I served as Transportation Director, Council for Jewish Elderly, Chicago, IL (1998 - 2007).
