Together, Ron and Jackie built two businesses and a family of three children, seven grandchildren (“the magnificent seven”) and two great-grandchildren. A lifelong lover of music, he starred in community productions of “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Sound of Music” and “My Fair Lady.” He also played volleyball, softball and coached his daughter’s short-lived kids’ soccer career with Jackie.
Ron was a generally calm-headed guide to anyone who needed one, particularly his family. He had far more patience for them than he did himself which could make him both endearing and infuriating.
In addition to Jackie, Ron -- is survived by his sisters, Susan Helmer, Catherine Rizzo (Ronald), and Diane Helmer-Hall; his brother, Paul; his children Doug Rossello, April Hall (Peter), and Lauren Helmer; grandchildren Shawn Rossello (Amanda), Eric Rossello (Ashley), Aubrey Trotta, Maxx Trotta, Natalie Trotta, Daniel Hall, and Lillian Hall; and great-grandsons Tobias “Toby Ron” Rossello and Logan Rossello.
