| About Me | A month and a half after I lost my mother in March of 1986 I joined the Navy. It was the best decision I ever made. I spent 20 yrs in the United States Navy and retired. There was a time or two that I was ready to toss it all away and get out. I am glad I listend to my husband and stayed in and finished my 20. The medical benefits and retiremetn check are very valuable. I always told my youngins in the Navy to never leave the Navy with nothing. Most of them listened. After I enjoyed 3 months of retirement leave I worked 2 yrs at Ace Hardware as a sales rep and cashier. And I currently work at Langley Federal Credit Union as a member service representative.
