| About Me | Graduated from University of California in 1963. Worked briefly as a teacher and then joined IBM and the fledgling IT business - a career choice that lasted for the rest of my working life. I lived in several places (Missouri, New York, Virginia) before finally leaving the US in 1972 to work in New Zealand. What was to be a year or two of "working holiday" turned into my immigration to NZ which I found suited my temperament much better than the USA. Have spent the last 50+ years living in either NZ or Australia, barring a short "assignment" back to San Jose in 1980.
