Karen Lee (Jenkins) Kotlar died peacefully in her sleep in Gig Harbor, Washington, a month before her 67th birthday. Karen grew up in Burbank and graduated from JBHS where she met her husband, Doug Kotlar. She moved with him to Gig Harbor to raise her family. Karen was retired from a long, successful career as a secretary for the Peninsula School System's district office.
