His passing was due to renal disease from diabetes. After graduation he became a Burbank Police Officer and retired after 20 years. His two daughters are both graduates of JBHS in 1986 and 1988. He was married to Linda McKinney who attended Luther Burbank and Burbank High for 25 years. He is interned at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills
