| Favorite School Memory | I have several. NO SPORTS NO SCHOOL was huge highlight. all of the students walked out of class and invaded main st as we blocked all traffic on the way to the subway there hundreds of us hoped the railing as we proceede to the boared of education in brooklyn once there and made our point, we then walked over the brooklyn bridge on the way to the city mayors office. It was a heroic day for all the schools cause we were NOT the only school. Another found memory would cutting class to go play handball outside, meeting in front of the school before class started and dancing(salsa) outside, loved my gymanstics class, catching the school bus and passing through Corona, Lefrak City, Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, etc and of course the time there was a racial riot and we had to have police escorts.
