| About Me | I have lived a very interesting life, was fortunate enough to retire young enough to enjoy it at a very young age 2 months before my 46th birthday in 1998. I have enjoyed every minute of it. I raised my son as a single parent he was born in 1977, my son moved to TX in March 2017 with my 2 grandchildren. I live with my husband in Morristown, NJ presently and fur babies. I have only adopted rescued pets. I work with rescue groups. I transferred to MTN Bell in Denver, CO for 2 ½ yrs, skied just about every weekend, moved back to NJ, continuing my career with AT&T in Basking Ridge, NJ, settling in Morristown, NJ. Stayed single for 26 years until my son was grown then met my husband, we have been married since 2001. He was in Baghdad, Iraq 2006-2007. To say I did not know the man I married would not come home is putting it mildly. The Army does not warn or prepare you. I used to walk through the WTC, to go to work, in Manhattan, I watched as they were being built, I watched as they came down. So when he wanted to enlist, to serve our country I supported his decision. While I do not believe in War, I supported him. He was blown up 6 times, had 5 concussions in 4 months, so suffers from PTSD/TBI, along with a myriad of health issues. It has been a long learning curve. I vowed...(read more) |
