Jim Lodahl and I went to prom with Lynn and John Nelson and we had a wonderful time. The next summer the four of us spent most everyday waterskiing at her mom and dad's cabin on Forest Lake. Whenever I'm on my lake and smell gas that memory returns and I smile as I cherish those amazing days. Jim and I would start out on the wooden homemade saucer and then he'd pick up the wood chair we left floating. Jim would stand on the chair and I would sit on his shoulders. We were young, limber and rather brave now that I think about it. Lynn was so proud of the new lake home she and her hubby, Dean, built on that same site.. She always had a smile and a fun personality. She was an avid supporter of dog rescues which I sincerely admire and respect. She left her mark.
