About Me	Lived in N. Elkhart till I was 8 y.o, then moved to Jimtown (3rd grade). Moved back to N. Elkhart when I married Bob, right after h.s. Bob & I returned to Jimtown in 2005. We have 1 son (Steven). He has a beautiful wife (Danielle), & they've given us 3 gorgeous granddaughters: Kara, Kayla, & Kelly Brooks. They live 2 blocks from us, & the girls all attended Jimtown school. Kara is now out of college & working in a dentist office. Kayla is still in college, & Kelly still attends JHS. I am a retired LPN. The best part of my work was being a Home Care Nurse. I miss my clients, & loved all of them! Still keep in touch with a few. When I was 10 yo, I was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes (type 1), & began taking insulin injections. I was told I would probably not live past 21...look at me now...an old woman! A Grandma! :). I also have fibromyalgia, which is a very painful syndrome. God does a good job of making sure I have the meds I need to control the pain. But I have good days, & bad days. I always remember:" I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me." I have a wonderful husband (Bob) who also takes good care of me. We were married June 12, 1965. We love to camp, search out antique shops, & spend time with our son & family. I do machine embroidery, crochet, play with my laptop, go out to eat with friends & family.
