About Me	I've grown up, found God and peace with myself, figured out who I am, and figured out ways I can make a difference in the world. Figured out that America is NOT the center of the universe, but still firmly believe that it's still the best DAMN place on earth...even with all it's many challenges. More specifically, I was blessed with a superb college education in Virginia and actually graduated(!); worked abroad with a French Arch firm, Atelier Hauvette, in Paris, during my 4th year; met and married a US Naval Officer upon graduation; went on to have 3 phenomenal kids; travelled/lived around the world from 1990-2010 due to the US Navy's insistence on moving us every two years of the past twenty years; worked as an architect, english teacher, art teacher and fitness teacher as I travelled; designed/built several buildings around the world- my fav being myInt'l Peace Memorial in Japan; mastered French and Italian, skoshi Japanese and survival Mandarin Chinese; learned that I actually DO like sushi, ran my first marathon in Honolulu Hawaii when I was 31 and didn't think I could run from my house to the stop sign, and finally and perhaps most importantly, our family has recently sponsored an beautiful orphan from Cambodia.
