| About Me | I love to crochet! I have been married for 18 years (Oct.2, 1993) and I have two daughters who are 21 & 22! I have 3 cat and 3 dogs and I am a stay at home mom. I graduated from Jeffersonville High School in1993 and got married the same year. I love to crochet and make things for everyone. I had a hysterectomy in 2003 and afterward I developed a DVT (blood clot) in the Illiac Vein (the main vein in the left leg that carries the blood back to the heart) and I spent 21 days in the hospital while they tried to remove the clot. They ended up removing it and having to put 3 metal stints in the vein to keep it open (the vein had collapsed), which means I set metal detectors off very easily....lol. After they removed the clot and put the stints in, they sent me home and 2 weeks later I was back again because it had returned. I am currently taking blood thinners and I will have to take them the rest of my life. So anytime I have surgery or even a tooth pulled, I have to tell them and take extra precaution...(read more) |
