About	Mr. Shetline at age 85 was living in Revenna, Ohio when he had passed away. He was chairman of the Math Department of Jefferson Township H.S. until retiring in 1986 to Sebring, Florida. He was also the founder and director of the summer and evening school programs.

Mr. Shetline was a terrific math teacher who, back in 1966, did not mind that a girl was good at math; he even encouraged me! He arranged for me to attend a summer program at Rutgers, which was an eye-opener to opportunities beyond JTHS! I ended up, after many years, becoming a CPA (using my math skills) and pursued that for a while. I eventually taught math (and English) to middle school students.
