About Me	1 Peter 1:7 These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold - though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, I love The Lord! I am married to Jason for 15 years on June 24th of 2010. He has Cerebral Palsy. We have two children Grace and Johnathyn. Grace is a drama queen who is 9 and is in 3rd Grade. Johnathyn is 7.5 and is in 1st grade. Johnathyn also has Cerebral Palsy and is a typical 7 year old boy with all the attitude. We currently only have to see a specialist every 3 months and do stretches with him at home about 6-8 times a day. I also care for my "Uncle Dean" in my home as he has learning disabilities which affect his ability to make decisions for himself. I am my dad's power of attorney also, as he has Alzheimers and I take care of his finances and and oversee all of his personal business. My mom died almost 5 years ago after a thirteen year battle with cancer and I am thankful for the time I got to spend with her in those last days of her life. I am a Church School Teacher and Director. I work at Geneva Beach Resort on Saturday from June through August. I also work at the resort every 6 weeks in the winter. I do housekeeping for Viking Motel, Lakes Village Apartments, and a good friend of mine. I will also be a personal caregiver to an elderly lady with Alzhiemers. I own my own cerammic shop, Ceramics by Sandra and attend a Ceramics night every Monday night at a friends Ceramic Shop, Simply Ceramics. I am a survivor of sexual assault & attempted rape and struggle with the ability to trust people and to let people into my personal space. I also am the survivor of alcohol poisoning as I once lived a life of alcohol and parties. I had a problem with alchohol fromt the time I was 13 and I quit drinking when I was seventeen. I am now a Christian who struggles with these ghosts on a daily basis. I do not get much time to think about myself as there are so many people that need me to look out for their needs. I have found that the only one I can really rely on to give me peace is The One and Only Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is my Rock and my Foundation. Without Him I would go stark raving mad. However, I do crave the companionship of friends and the comfort of a shoulder to cry on occasionally. I have recently discovered that God has sent certain friends into my life to carry me through the troubling times and am eternally grateful for their freindship and love.
