After completing school, worked in journalism for a brief time, then for the Balt. Symph. Orchestra (admin. position), and finally for a healthcare non-profit in Rockville, MD (editorial, desktop pub., and admin. asst positions) before stopping to have/raise my kids and help my elderly parents for a while, as well as deal with some temporary serious health issues of my own.
