Favorite School Memory	When Abe L. and I wrote the poem "J-D Blender" and left copies around the library and were quickly escorted to the school psychologist!!!
About Me	...hitchhiked across the country several times with no money but a mandolin, went to college to study music, joined the Army Band, got married, lived in Seattle area, had an amazing super-boy child Elliott now age 17, went to Iraq for the invasion, played reggae during a dust-storm, snuck instruments up on the rooftop in Baghdad to host an illicit open-mic for my fellow soldiers, served in Savannah GA where I set up open-mic in the streets and jammed with the strangest array of cats, played music to the waves all night until the sun rose over the Fender Rhodes I dragged out onto the beach at Tybee Island, stationed at Ft. Drum, did PT in sub-zero temperatures with eye-brow icicles, spent 15 months in Afghanistan, played world music fusion with the Afghan army band's indigenous musicians, wrote an imaginary album for my imaginary band YoSloBitch, got distracted, got divorced, left the Army... Relocated to Fairfax, VA where I was reunited with my first post-high school sweetheart with whom I hadn't been in contact for 14 years...We are married now and have another son, Isaak, age 11. Currently teaching piano at Contemporary Music Center, am a music director at Sudley United Methodist Church, play gig through the Washington Talent Agency, and am also self-employed (various professional ensembles and solo piano work).
