June after graduating attended and completed the Jamestown Practical Nursing Program which was housed at Jamestown High School. She did her internship at Brooks Hospital in Dunkirk NY.
June married John Paul Cable on June 14, 1974. They had two daughters, Allison Anna Cable (Tom Lawson) and Bonita Barbara Cable (Jonathan Mazzone). She had 2 granddaughters: Desire D. (Hannah) Lawson and Chloe Mazzone, 2 grandsons: Padraic Lawson and Dominic Mazzone.

June and I hung around together when we were going to Washington Junior High. She was so much fun. I wasn't surprised at all that she became a nurse. I have always felt that nurses are born and not made. June always had the empathy and kindness needed for a nursing career. I am so sorry for your hurts.
