About	Mr. Rizzo was a great history teacher . He was hired by Washington Jr. High in 1959 . He was there until 1982 when he transferred to JHS as a guidance counselor . He retired in 1994. We loved this man and he was one of the best teachers at Washington Jr. High. He knew how to keep kids in line by his gentle ways and a fling of his pointer at your head if you needed it ! Rest in peace dear Mr. Rizzo .

He saved me from an uncalled for attack in the stairway at WJHS in 1968. I will never forget it as long as I live.
