About Me	I furthered my education at UND, Drake University, and Seattle Pacific University. While at UND, I quickly learned a few of the rules for ice hockey and cheered on the Fighting Sioux! My career has centered around education. I've been an elementary teacher, administrator , and central office specialist in ND, MN, and WA. I also left the education to be in the world of educational publishing with McGraw-Hill Book Company. I had the opportunity to travel throughout the US and sign numerous books into publication. This experience was followed by being a teacher trainer/consultant for LEGO Systems. This experience made me realize how much I missed being a teacher and I went back to the classroom. When I'm not having fun with the kids in the classroom, my husband and I spend time with our four legged furry kids- a tabby cat and a cavalier spaniel dog. We try to keep the weeds out of the yard, but find that life is too short to worry about weeds, we'd rather have fun exploring the world through travel. My husband and I love to travel and spend each February in Cabos, Mexico. Our other travels have taken us to Alaska, numerous points of interest in Mexico, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Turkey.
