| About Me | Graduated with honors from Sweet Briar College, a woman's college in Virginia. Been published. Became a poet and novellist (novel not yet published - working on that). Was a student of Pulitzer Prize winning poet, Mary Oliver. Worked in historic preservation, public broadcasting and then the wine industry. Harvested and crushed grapes for wine in Virginia, Oregon and Washington state. Moved to the northwest. Lived on a vineyard. Traveled througout Europe. Learned to speak Italian fluently. Learned to play the bluegrass mandolin. Learned to sail. Certified in wine from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, LTD in London, UK. Served on the Board for the Dundee Hills Winegrowers Association in Dundee, Oregon, as well as the Oregon Environmental Council. Work with celebrity chefs for food and wine events.
