Prior education and experience was under the tutelage of David Teie of the National Symphony Orchestra, in addition to summer studies with Chaim Zemach of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and workshops with Paul Katz of the Cleveland Quartet. He is a frequent Cantor at the St. Jude Shrine, Baltimore, MD, where he has also founded a cantorial service, the Office of the Lesser Hours-Terce, occurring on select Sundays, specializing in the Gregorian Chant and Ordinary derived from the ancient Liber Usualis tome. Mr. Miller was also a full-time tenor for the past eight seasons at Old St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Baltimore, MD, in the Choir of Men and Boys, the Choir of Men and Girls, and in the unique Vespers Schola, an ensemble specializing in ancient chant and early polyphonic renaissance music, for which he held the position of Cantor and Soloist for select services. Other ensembles of note have included the choir of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, where he has been a featured Soloist, the Choral Schola of St. John's in the Village, as well as the Chancel Choir of Second Presbyterian Church.
