| About Me | I completed my bachelor's degree in 1992 and obtained my teaching certificate in 1993. I taught H.S. in Georgia for three years and then returned to school in Illinois to get my graduate degree (1999). I married Eric Hanson in 1999 and in 2001 my son Alex P. was born. I have been a stay-at home mom and I have been in private practice as a professional birth doula since 2003.
