Max’s last name was Tarrien. He died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the fall of 87. We were in a math class together that year.
Guyton and Hughes had grown up together and were best friends. They hung themselves from the same tree a week apart in the fall of 85. I was in an auto shop class with one of them, I’ve since lost my year book and cannot remember which.
I am not aware of a fourth suicide at Robinson during that period, but the loss of those three shocked everyone.
