About	Renato Simone May 29, 1958 - October 25, 2016 Danville Renato Simone of Danville, California, passed away in a tragic accident on October 25, 2016 in Concord. Renato was born in Rome, Italy on May 29, 1958 and grew up in Vienna, Virginia from the age of 3. Renato spent a short time in Texas where he started his aviation training and career. At the request of his younger brother, Edward, he moved to California in his early 30's to finish his flight training, and he did so in exemplary fashion. Renato lived life to the fullest. He loved flying and graced the skies for many years as a pilot and instructor. He grew up loving muscle cars and racing GTOs, and was an avid sportsman. He was always engaged in a variety of sports and outdoor activities, including soccer, softball, downhill skiing, dirt biking, and had recently taken to long distance running and competitive bicycling. Renato is survived by his loving wife, Nina, stepchildren, Nadia and Nicholas, his adoring father Joseph Simone and proud stepmother Gail, his sister and brother-in-law, Susan Simone and Kris Jonsson, niece Seneca, nephew Ulfar, sister-in-law Leslie Simone and nephew Carlo, Uncle Ed and Aunt Terry, and Uncle Raymond. He was predeceased by his mother Ellanore, and brothers, Carlo and Edward.
