| About Me | Gotten way too fat but fortunate to be having a good life. Lived in South Texas for 20 years, then returned to Houston in 2005 to become a federal immigration judge. Active in many ways, including Chairman of Special Olympics for Area 1 (South Tx) for several years. Coached sports and debate. For a while i wrote a weekly column for two newspapers. Prior to my current job, which is subject to the Hatch Act, i was active in politics, including Hidalgo County Republican chair for six years. Appointed by Gov. Bush to Texas State Library and Archives Commission for six years, and served on his honorary inaugural committee following both gubernatorial elections.
