Thomas Peter Duarte, 62, of Turtlewood Dr, Waxhaw, passed away Monday, October 29th 2018 in White Oak Manor. Mr. Duarte was a member of Life Church of Monroe and was a Minister with Life Christian University. He had a love for people and to volunteer for the Quest Ministries, Restoration House Ministry and the Annual Lord of the Harvest meal. He was born April 8, 1956 to Clarence and Gertrude Nunes Duarte in San Jose, CA. He loved football and his favorite teams are the San Francisco 49ers and the Carolina Panthers.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dom Duarte.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers Gary of Tulare, CA, Kelly of Florence, SC and David Duarte of Morgan Hill, CA, and numerous nephews, nieces and great-nephews and great-nieces.
