About	Dr. Ann Garvin beloved History teacher from early Jackson High School passed away in November from Alzheimers. A most brilliant and independent woman who was way ahead of her time. She left teaching after many years to become an attorney and worked as a public defender. She will be missed by all who had the honor of being in her class.
