About Me I am just a all around woman who loves to express herself in different lights. I believe a true poet is honest with themselves and there opinions. I write poetry for fun and as a hobby. I love the arts of drawing, painting, and sculpting. Art will always be my talent passion in love in my life. I love to shop, garden, read, and just make new poems. I love to inspire people and give a helping hand . I am a 24 year old who loves adventure anywhere I go. My nick name is Tiff or Tweety. I live in New Orleans, LA. I enjoy lots of novels and works of the famous. I see good in all people no matter who they are or what they done. I believe in god and spirits of the earth like any other human being. My works of poetry are inspired around the life I live of what I see and do. I'll listen to your input you give me. I am all ears and heart all in one.I live life on the edge once in a great while. I am a artist of my own callibure to high standards when drawing and in written word. I feel no one cares for good old fashion goals or dreams but me.I was a soldier for the army national guard in Mississippi, USA for 7 years planning to go back. I went to Pearl River Community College for Associates Arts- scholarship , RA, work study and always busy. I also went University of Southern Mississippi for Bachelors Fine Arts graduated- ROTC, scholarship and even there still was very busy. I am now working on being stay at home mom but work when I can, with one child of my own baby Robert Dean Laviolette another love in my life. I am working on losing my baby weight as well after my sons birth still. Well, enough of me get to my newest works will you? Thank you for visiting my page learn more about me. Have a great day and always smile! Quote of the day: "Behind every good man is a good woman. And behind every good woman is a great, unlimited credit card, paid for by the man." -- Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Sex and the City. Favorite Poem: Having a Coke with You by Frank O’Hara Was thinking of Duchamp tonight and remembered a poem by Frank O’Hara. — Having a Coke with You is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irún, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona partly because in your orange shirt you look like a better happier St. Sebastian partly because of my love for you, partly because of your love for yoghurt partly because of the fluorescent orange tulips around the birches partly because of the secrecy our smiles take on before people and statuary it is hard to believe when I’m with you that there can be anything as still as solemn as unpleasantly definitive as statuary when right in front of it in the warm New York 4 o’clock light we are drifting back and forth between each other like a tree breathing through its spectacles and the portrait show seems to have no faces in it at all, just paint you suddenly wonder why in the world anyone ever did them I look at you and I would rather look at you than all the portraits in the world except possibly for the Polish Rider occasionally and anyway it’s in the Frick which thank heavens you haven’t gone to yet so we can go together the first time and the fact that you move so beautifully more or less takes care of Futurism just as at home I never think of the Nude Descending a Staircase or at a rehearsal a single drawing of Leonardo or Michelangelo that used to wow me and what good does all the research of the Impressionists do them when they never got the right person to stand near the tree when the sun sank or for that matter Marino Marini when he didn’t pick the rider as carefully as the horse it seems they were all cheated of some marvelous experience which is not going to go wasted on me which is...(read more)
