About Me	06/2025 In 1970, while working on my doctorate at the University of Missouri, I met the young lady that would marry me. After completion of my PhD and my first Postdoc, we were married in May of 1975. After another Postdoc and an Instructorship, I was seduced by the Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry and left my academic career path to join the Industry. For the next 37 years, I worked for several different entities. Several of my positions over the years required considerable travel, both domestic and international, which provided me an opportunity to see much of the world on the company dime. My corporate travel was supplemented with domestic and international travel with family and friends. My wife and I have continued to travel during our retirement years and look forward to traveling for as long as we are able. My wife and I were blessed with two daughters and two grandchildren. Since our marriage, we have lived in five different states and 6 cities. We moved to Minnesota some thirty years ago. The move to Minnesota was fortuitous, as it allowed me to renew my love of the BWCAW and Quetico wildernesses, which began when I was a student at Morton.
