Message from our Reunion Committee Chair (Suzanne DeAgazio Pisano):
Hey all – I finally confirmed details for our 45th reunion later this year! As I posted back in June on the FB JPS Class of 78 group site, the venue will be Stella Marina Restaurant on the boardwalk in Asbury Park. We’ll be in the second-floor dining room with a bar, balcony and wraparound windows. I’ve pushed the date out to Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, so we don’t have to guarantee a minimum number of attendees. With the late afternoon start time, we’ll have plenty of daylight to enjoy the ocean views, and hopefully catch a nice sunset, too. Here are the event details:
-Cocktail reception: Includes passed hor doeuvres, and buffet stations with antipasti, pasta, entrées and dessert.
-Cash bar
-Per person cost: $90
-Payment can be by check or Venmo. Please make out the check to me, Suzanne Pisano, and mail to 67 Halstead Street, Apt 1211, Clinton, NJ 08809. I’ll hold the money in a separate account so I can issue a single check to the venue.
If you’d like, include your phone number and I can text you to confirm I’ve received it.
Or Venmo @Suzanne-Pisano-2. The last four digits of my phone number are 1500.
-Soft payment deadline of June 30th. I'll need to give the venue a rough idea of how many of us there will be, so if you can RSVP and send your payment by then, that'd be great.
-Overnight accommodations: I’ve started making inquiries among the various AP hotels to see if we can score a group rate, for those from out of town or who simply don’t want to drive home. Will keep you posted on that.
-No live music this year. We want people to be able to talk and catch up. However we’ll be in the live music capital of New Jersey, so once the event is over we have our choice of after-party locations within walking distance!
-Spreading the word. Would ask you all to spread the word. If you know of anyone not on FB or in this group or who otherwise may not see this post, please pass the info on to them. Talk it up amongst yourselves and let’s see what kind of a turnout we can get!

Class of 1978! Our 40th Class Reunion is scheduled and will be held at Anthony's Bella Vista Country Club in Marlboro NJ on July 28th from 7 - 11 pm. Price is $70 including tax and gratuities (cash bar). Checks need to made out to "Anthony's Bella Vista Country Club" and mailed to Dawn Whitworth by June 1st.
