About Me	31 years in the Navy(Retired August 2000) and 40 years in field of Radiologic Technology. Joined the Navy in Jan 1970 at Naval Reserve Center in Aberdeen then to San Diego for boot camp and back to Aberdeen for 9 months. Then went to Naval Station San Diego and then to Hospital Corps School in San Diego. After that I was transferred to Bremerton Naval Hospital A couple months later I received orders to Vietnam Nam and returned about 9 months later and got orders to Seattle. After there I returned to San Diego where I became an X-ray tech. From there I went to Hawaii at the at the Marine Corps base at Kaneohe Bay. I volunteered for Search and Rescue and in March or April of 75 I received temporary orders with the Marine Air Wing to evac Saigon. After Hawaii I went to the island of Guam. From there I was released to inactive duty and returned to the Navy Reserve for 6 years. In July 84 I came back on active duty for another 16 years at Naval Hospital Oakland, Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Japan, teaching xRay tech school in Oakland, Ca, USNS Mercy and finally Recruiting in Oakland , Ca f...(read more)
