About Me	I've been very blessed since graduating from J.F. Webb. I enjoyed my years at Elon College (now University) where I majored in English-Journalism. After graduating in May of 1985, I returned home to take care of my elderly parents, who died in 1994 (mother) and 1995 (father). I was very sad when my parents died, but I felt very good in my heart because I gave peace and comfort to my parents and helped them through their most difficult years. I worked as a writer for a few years while I was home with my parents, and I continued to write after they died. However, I spent most of my time working in a library and teaching. Now, I venture out occasionally, but mostly, I am at home resting because I have multiple sclerosis (MS), arthritis, and some other health problems. Whenever I walk, I must use a "walker" to assist me. Despite my health problems, I am very thankful to God just to be able to walk, even if it's very slowly; many MS patients can't walk at all. I'm also very blessed because I'm surrounded by so much love and care from my four sisters and dear friends. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
