| About Me | Four years in Pittsburgh to get a BFA in Graphic Design at Carnegie-Mellon University; moved to North Carolina and worked as a public relations and publications manager for several years before going back to school to pursue a master's degree in journalism at UNC-CH; freelanced as a business journalist and then worked in marketing communications for Nortel for 15 halcyon years; in 1988 bought a 35-acre farm in central NC, then in 2000 bought another 71 acres with a National Register 1850 home built by Thomas Day; presently working as a freelance marketing communications writer, primarily for SAS, Eaton and Toshiba.
