About Me	My wife and I have a small, 28-acre farm located at the western end of the Columbia River Gorge, in Corbett, Oregon. What this location implies is unpredictably strong winds, ice storm winters, very hot summers, incessantly wet springs and, occasionally, some very calm days where the only sounds are the farm animals milling about. We have bear, cougar, bobcat, coyote, raccoon (of course!), possums, deer, ravens, eagles, crows, etc., etc., etc. on the land. We also have an elk herd about 30-40 strong, visit us twice per year.
