About Me	I left El Paso for the first of 3 tours in Vietnam in 1968--it took me 40 years t get back to Texas. I am indeed glad to be back "home." From a business perspective, most of my adult life was spent with the Department of Defense where I held a number of interesting positions such as Deputy Auditor General of the Air Force, Director of Finance and Accounting for the US Army, and Director of Information Technology Operations for the Department of Defense (Army/Navy/Air Force). In 1993, I took an "early out" in 1993 from the Government and established and operated a cattle ranch in Kentucky as well as an international financial consulting business. Twelve years later (2005), one of my consulting clients, an aerospace company (IMC Magnetics Corp), asked my to become their President/CEO which I did for several years. The Company did so well we received an unsolicited offer from Curtiss Wright (an international conglomerate) to buy us out. This enabled me to retire for a third time, and to finally move back to my home state, Texas. From a family perspective, I am married and have three children and 20--yes, 20--grandchildren. My son who also graduated from Irvin, is a CPA in Denver, my oldest daughter and her family are in Saint Marys, Kansas, and my younges...(read more)
