I LOVED Mr. Iverson's chemistry class. Especially all the experiments we did. My favorite was the "black box" project. I always hoped I would run into him in a grocery store sometime so I could ask him, "What was in black box number 6?" so he'd know he had made a lasting impression on me. The Most Important thing I learned was the Scientific Method and the process of Critical Thinking, which are vital tools in the current world. I'm a proud 1970 Irondale graduate - the first class!
