| About Me | I went ot the U of I, played at little football, and then was a member of the track team. I also was a music major briefly, and during that time I was in the Hawkeye Marching Band, and the basketball Pep Band. After graduating, I have worked for the Iowa City Community School District for 20 years, as a substitute teacher, associate, coach, summer school teacher, and teacher (mostly 6th grade). I have spent most of my teaching time at Grant Wood Elementary(13 years), and most of my coaching time at City High (20 years). I coached some football at City and some basketball at South East, but I coached track at City since graduating from Iowa, working mainly with the throwers. While I was there , City high has won 19 conference team titles and 11 state team titles. I married my wonderful wife Stephanie in 1988, and we have 4 children: Molly, Kayla, Alex, and Bree. They are 13, 13, 11, and 5, and they all go to Regina. Stephanie is a clinical laboratory scientist at the UIHC.
