About Me	After graduating from Iowa State, I worked for the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. I moved back to Iowa City & managed an apartment complex & worked at the VA. In 1988, I moved to Phoenix & have been working at the VA as a Recreation Therapist in various programs that are offer, i.e. substance abuse, PTSD, Home Care & currently in the Nursing Home Care Unit. Received a post-BA Certificate in Gerontology with graduate credits from Arizona State University-West. Instructed classes at Arizona State University. Secretary of my professional organization in AZ & state representative for a time. Co-presenter for professional organization & AZ Gerontological Society. Married in 1997 & 1 beautiful step-daughter.
