Eric Scoggins
Class of 1977
Eric Scoggins was an all American football player, who started as quarterback from 1974-1976. Eric went on to play football for USC and played on their 1978 championship team. After USC Eric played in the NFL for a couple of seasons. Eric was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's "ALS" disease in January of 2007. His jersey number "12" was retired at the class of 77"s 30 year reunion. Eric Scoggins died in January of 2009 after a very courageous fight and left those who knew him with fond memories of his contributions to Inglewood High School as an outstanding athlete and a scholar.
