About Me	I am self-employed, as a real estate appraiser, I have been doing this for over 27 years now, and never thought I would be doing this for a living. I started out in college to be an Architect, but life had other ideas. You know the old saying, "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans" C'est Moi. I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined being an appraiser, (all that math, ugh). I like the independence and the fact that I am my own boss, what I hate is the lulls that happen periodically. I have served as a hearing officer for assessment appeals for the City and County of Denver since June 2008. it’s a rewarding position, not many hours right now, but I am assured that will change by early Fall. Enough about my business, that's not what people want to know anyway. I am 47 years old, single (divorced actually, big mistake to marry, but who hasn't made one mistake or another in life), I live in Southeast Denver. I used to be VERY active politically until last year, now have decided just to be an educated voter and help in the campaigns in which I hold a great passion for the issue of candidate. There is a reason I am still single after all these years, I'm just not exactly sure what it is yet. I am witty (sometimes), friendly (almost to a fault), intelligent (or at least I think so), relatively handsome, Loyal (also almost to a fault), compassionate, some people have said that I have the typical Scorpio intensity, I guess they're right. If you are a man who is willing to take me as I am with all of my faults and foibles, I am here come and get me. I am looking for someone almost like myself in the sense that they are self-assured and intelligent. Pretense will not impress me in the slightest, be genuine, don't try to impress me with trivialities and don't try for the laundry list of accomplishments or agonies award. I have had enough of drama in my 44+ years, I just want the remaining 60 or so years to be "Drama-Free". Honesty and integrity are the best ways to impress me. I would like be with someone who wants to be a partner and a friend, not just a lover. The party scene also is not my cup of tea. I like quiet days and evenings with friends and family with good food, good wine and good conversation. Quality time is paramount to me, no need to fill the time with activities. I also want someone who is self-sufficient, has a job and wants to excel in all things in life. I don't want to be anyone's "Sugar Daddy", not that I can afford to be one anyway. I'm also not into the "games" some people play, or at least that's what they purport to be.
