About Me	Sailing on the turquoise waters of the Caribbean (and snorkeling!) on our 35th wedding anniversary was pure bliss (see the album). Also, sailing on the turquoise waters of Lake Thunersee near Interlaken, Switzerland. Ahhh, the joy of sailing on a gorgeous lake, embraced by the Alps, on a sparkling summer day. My son, Erick, is a U of I grad and an Army Captain, and my daughter, Kristine, is an Upper Iowa grad and has a great job with the State of Iowa. I have two adorable grandchildren (my daughters' children), and a son-in-law. I've been a news editor, a college public relations chief, a college professor and an assisted living administrator.
