Marcia V. Petcavage, 42, of 1630 Calhoun St, died Tuesday, March 3, 1992 of primary pulmonary hypenension at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minn.
She was born Sept. 16, 1949, in Oelwein, daughler of Jasper and lrma Rose Snyder Chandler. She attended and graduated from Independence high school in 1968. She married George A Petcavaae on Mach26, 1977, in Independence.
Mrs. Petcavage received her degee as licensed practical nurse from Kirkwood College and Hawkeye Institute of Technology, then worked at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falla and at the former Black Hawk County Care Center.
Survivors include her huband; a son, George F. at home; two brothers, Michael Chandler of Watertown, WI., and Ronald Chandler of Independence; and two sisters, Phyllis Yearous of Jesup and Patricia Colton of Inde-pendence; she was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace United Methodist Church. with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Keams, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimblll, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
